New Operations and maintenance engineer

Magnus Thorebäck has started working with us in Kiruna this January. Magnus will be working as an Operations and maintenance engineer, both with the old EISCAT system and with the new EISCAT_3D system.

Magnus comes from a background as self-employed in his own company since 1995. His main assignments has been electric constructions, installations and service/maintenance. Working towards customers as LKAB, other mining companies and industry workshops.

“I have lived in Kiruna all my life, because I like the nature. I live here with my family, my partner Malin, a fourteen year old daughter and a eleven year old son. We also have a Breton dog, which I like to take out hunting.

Other leisure-time activities are cross-country and alpine skiing, running and cycling.

I think it will be exciting to work in a new industry.”
