Celebration at Space campus

Yesterday EISCAT HQ invited all of the staff at IRF and LTU to join us for coffee and cake, to celebrate that EISCAT_3D have gotten a go ahead. We have known about the start for a while, but vacations and other celebrations have made us wait a bit longer than we planed.

Our director Craig Heinselman held a speech telling us all about EISCAT_3D. When we plan to be up and running and why we decided to start this project from the beginning.

We are so happy to be realizing this new incoherent scatter radar!
