EISCAT has signed a contract for the delivery of the buildings for EISCAT_3D with ARTRA OY. ARTA is located in Kuopio, Finland. Site constructions in at least Norway and Finland will start summer 2021.
Tender
The BUILDINGS procurement for the EISCAT_3D site buildings was opened 26 November 2020 and had a closing date at 17 December 2020.
The tendering was a joint procurement by EISCAT and the University of Oulu and was for buildings at three sites in Finland, Norway and Sweden. Interested companies could bid for some or all buildings.
After the closing date it was decided that EISCAT would be the single contract party for all buildings in the procurement.
