The package should be compatible with not too ancient Matlab versions (&gt;2023), but there may (or may not) be some problems on specific platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Install<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Guisdap-10.0 is more-or-less platform independent, and is running on Linux\/iOS\/Windows. The software is available in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ingemarh\/guisdap\">https:\/\/github.com\/ingemarh\/guisdap<\/a>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.com\/ingemarh\/guisdap\">https:\/\/gitlab.com\/ingemarh\/guisdap<\/a>, as git repositories with the large file system (lfs). To get it, install git and git-lfs on linux or iOS. For Windows,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gitforwindows.org\/\">https:\/\/gitforwindows.org<\/a>&nbsp;is a good option. Guisdap is also available as ready made deb packages,&nbsp;<strong>deb<br>[trusted=yes] https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/guisdap\/files\/deb-repo\/ bookworm main<\/strong>. The libraries contain up-to-date ionospheric, atmospheric and magnetic models and can either be installed as the .deb repo (libguisdap) , or made optimised for the hardware\/software (tested on Linux and iOS) via&nbsp;<strong>.\/libinstall.sh<\/strong><br>Guisdap is then started via bin\/guisdap (preferrably linked to a place on the path).<br>Provided is a searchpath to ~\/gup\/mygup where your personal and edited distribution files may go not to interfere with the distributed files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Running<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On a unix system prompt, type\u00a0<strong>guisdap \u2013help<\/strong>\u00a0to see all the switches available. Normal analysis is done running\u00a0<strong>guisdap -a<\/strong>\u00a0which will bring up a window with some entries to fill in. (Hopefully selfexplained) This is the same as\u00a0<strong>guisdap<\/strong>\u00a0and then\u00a0<strong>analyse<\/strong>. When finished hit\u00a0<strong>GO<\/strong>. A more detailed instruction can be found at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eiscat.se\/document\/user-documentation\/guisdap8-for-dummies\/\">here<\/a>.There is also a course\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eiscat.se\/technology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/01\/GUISDAP.pdf\">presentation<\/a>\u00a0describing how to initialise new experiments and some useful tips on more specialised analysis.
