EGI-Engage: Engaging the EGI community towards an Open Science Commons
The project is being completed and the accounts are compiled.
The EGI-Engage project (Engaging the Research Community towards an Open Science Commons) aims to accelerate the implementation of the Open Science Commons by expanding the capabilities of a European backbone of federated services for compute, storage, data, communication, knowledge and expertise, complementing community-specific capabilities.
EGI-Engage is co-funded from the European Community Horizon 2020 Programme under grant agreement no 654182. The project started in March 2015 and will continue until August 2017. It is coordinated by the European Grid Initiative (EGI).
EISCAT_3D will be one of eight Competence Centres in this project, with the aim to support high-impact Research Infrastructures/communities by joint development of customised services for these based on core EGI capabilities. This will be accomplished through user engagement and training activities.
EISCAT_3D user portal
In the EGI Competence Centre the main focus is to develop a prototype user portal for EISCAT. We have implemented a DIRAC portal for existing EISCAT data.
Instructions for accessing the prototype DIRAC portal are found in this document.
