EISCAT has signed a contract for the installation of outrigger fences in Skibotn with Tojo AS, Sørreisa, Norway. Installation of the supplemental fences will start within few days.

Procurement

We have now progressed far in completing the EISCAT_3D Skibotn site. We are now finalising the installations of the 10 outriggers constructed near the main array by installing fences around the units.

This procurement falls into the category “For contracts with an estimated value between 50 000 SEK and 1 000 000 SEK, pre-selected firms and organisations shall be invited to submit competitive offers“. We have already sent out the tender to various firms but if you have not received it, and is interested in bidding for the contract, you are welcomed to submit an offer.
